“it is our responsibility to ensure that members of the community are taken care of, because they can only be proud of us when they are alive, giving them something to support them like food items as we are presently doing is the only option to assist and show our love to them, their prayers and blessing, happiness and gladness are what we want from them, we do not want to see them starving  or lacking food”.

“Truly the government has been helping but unfortunately, what is being disbursed by the government couldn’t circulate to every corner of the state, but in a bid to support the government we are disbursing food items to members of the community, to tell them that the youth love them”.

Arogundade further explained that, YouCAN Empowerment Initiative is currently made up of Youths within Lagos and Ogun State, he also revealed that food items distributed were gotten from some Philanthropists within the Ilogbo community. Donations such as money and food items were received, which later help them to be able to arrive at providing food packages for the Most vulnerable in the community.

The President of the initiative further call for the intervention of the government and other well to do Nigerians, to assist them to be able to disburse more Relief Package to the community members, as the initiative was only able to meet with a target of 50 community members, hence many didn’t receive the package due to lack of more items to distribute.
